Custom Startups

This mod lets you choose a custom video that plays when the game starts. Add the Netflix intro, or even add the iconic Valve startup. There are endless possibilities for silly usecases.

How to add a startup video

To add a custom startup, first go to this website which converts your video into an animated webp file, and an audio file. If for whatever reason the website is down/not working (or you are impatient), you use Ezgif to convert to webp, and Cloudconvert to convert it to mp3.

After you have your animated.webp and your audio.mp3 files, go inside of the mod settings and set the Startup Image setting to your animated webp, and set the Startup Sound setting to your audio file.

Thats is all the necessary setup required for this mod to work. Although there are a bunch of cool extra settings for extra customisation!
