TokTikMode

Play Geometry Dash levels as if you were viewing a TokTik video. Or if you just want to play Geometry Dash vertically for whatever reason.

For macOS and Windows folks, TokTikMode is best experienced with Fullscreen. For Android folks, well... you already are on Fullscreen, obviously.

All users: TokTikMode automatically disables itself when a level has a gradient trigger, so that mod nitpickers won't repeatedly report the same three bugs for the next three weeks. To disable this behavior, please disable Gradient Trigger Compatibility.

Android users: Please consider enabling Disable on Platformer Levels after installing TokTikMode; controlling the player(s) in Platformer levels with TokTikMode enabled gets MUCH harder otherwise.

Windows/macOS users: Due to the nature of TokTikMode, Eclipse Menu's "Right Click Teleport" feature will still behave as if the screen was never rotated. Please don't report this bug, as both sides are aware of this issue.

TokTikMode was tested on the following devices, operating systems, and aspect ratios:

  • MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) running macOS Sequoia (macOS 15.0.1) with a 16:10 aspect ratio display
  • OnePlus 9 5G (6.55-inch, 2021) running OxygenOS 13 (forked from Android 13) with a 20:9 aspect ratio display
  • Dell Latitude 5420 (14-inch, 2021) running Windows 10 Enterprise Build 19045 with a 16:9 aspect ratio display
  • Whatever u l t r a w i d e monitor Alphalaneous uses, I guess. The point is, TokTikMode works on most conventional aspect ratios and/or windows sizes.

TokTikMode is based on a mod idea by Mattt Nguyen that went too far, and is my submission for Geode's Modtober 2024 contest.

Thanks to...

  • Alphalaneous for overhauling the core of this mod.
  • TheBearodactyl for sending me a more recent version of the TokTik UI to use as a reference.
  • hiimjustin000 for finding a consistent solution to show certain menus.

TokTikMode is non-profit, open-source, fan-made, U.S-origin software written in C++ with the Geode SDK as a mod for Geometry Dash, and has no affiliation with ByteDance Ltd. It parodies the social media platform of a similar name by re-creating its user interface within Geometry Dash, a game that also has zero affiliation with with ByteDance. As such, TokTikMode falls under fair use per Section 107 of the Copyright Act.

Some parts of the TokTik UI recreation are based on assets re-used and adapted from Adriano Reis on Figma. All assets found in TokTikMode, including my adaptations from Adriano Reis's assets, are licensed under CC BY 4.0.

The TokTik UI's font is (based on) Helvetica Neue DeskInterface, available on FontKe for non-commercial purposes.

The recommended way to install mods is through the in-game mod loader. You will have to manually install the .geode files you get from this page.

Some mods also require other mods as dependencies; you will need to find and install them yourself.
